Addressing Food Insecurity in Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh Generation of Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to tackling the crisis of food insecurity in the inner-city. With 1 in 6 children growing up in food-insecure households, and 1 in 5 in the inner-city, we work to provide access to nutritious food and address the root causes of poverty and unemployment that limit households from affording proper nutrition. By collaborating with other groups, private donors, and the community, we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families in need.
